Risk band

The categorical label — low, moderate, high, or very high — assigned from an occupation's displacement pressure score to make the 0-100 planning signal readable at a glance.

What this means in practice

Bands translate the continuous pressure score into a decision-friendly label. Very high marks occupations where exposure, automation, and wage vulnerability align; low marks roles with strong physical, licensing, or accountability anchors. Moderate and high cover the redesign-heavy middle.

The band is a summary, not a verdict — two occupations in the same band can need opposite plans. Technical Writers and Editors both sit in the high band, but one path runs toward documentation tooling ownership and the other toward content quality governance.
