Stretch move

A transition tier for target roles with real upside that require stronger evidence of skills before becoming the main plan.

What this means in practice

Stretch moves sit between safe adjacency and full reinvention. The target is reachable — the training time fits the runway or the skill overlap is meaningful — but the worker should prove the new skills with a project or course before betting on it.

A Bookkeeping Clerk moving toward an Internal Controls Associate role is a stretch move: the accounting context transfers, but audit and controls thinking need demonstration. The calculator flags these so ambition does not get mistaken for a plan.
