What this means in practice
Runway is the constraint most career advice ignores. A perfect target role is useless if it takes eighteen months to reach and the worker can fund six. The calculator's training input lets the runway shape which pathways are even eligible to rank.
Pathways on occupation pages carry estimated training windows — for example, three to six months for a Records Systems Specialist move from data entry. When a worker's runway is shorter than a pathway's requirement, that path is scored down in favor of faster moves.
